Air conditioner condenser running through an Illinois winter

About PMV

Heating, cooling & refrigeration across St. Charles & the Fox Valley — Mon–Sat.

Our Story

PMV Heating and Cooling was founded by Pablo Macias on a simple promise: show up when we say we will, do the job right, and give people straight answers about their equipment. We're based in St. Charles, Illinois, and we've grown mostly by word of mouth across Geneva, Batavia, Elgin, and the surrounding Fox Valley communities.

Today we serve homeowners and businesses across Kane, DuPage, McHenry, Cook, and Will counties. Illinois weather doesn't leave much room for error — a furnace that fails in January or an air conditioner that quits in July is an emergency, not an inconvenience. That's why after-hours emergency service is available, and why we push seasonal maintenance so hard: most of the breakdowns we get called out for were preventable.

We handle the full range — furnace and AC installation and repair, commercial HVAC, walk-in freezer and refrigerator repair, maintenance and tune-ups, water heaters, whole-home humidifiers, and air duct installation, repair, and cleaning. Every job starts with a free estimate. We speak English and Spanish, and returning customers and referrals save 15%.

What We Stand For

Reliability

We show up when we say we will and finish the job right — because a system that fails mid-winter isn't something that can wait.

Respect

Your home deserves respect. We put down drop cloths, work clean, and haul away the old equipment when we're done.

Honesty

Quality parts, upfront pricing, and straight repair-versus-replace advice. We won't sell you a system you don't need yet.

Community

We're a local Fox Valley company serving our own neighbors — and returning customers and referrals always save 15%.

Our Mission

Keep Fox Valley homes and businesses comfortable through every Illinois winter and summer. Install equipment that lasts, make honest repairs, and treat every customer like a neighbor — because most of them are.

Our Promise

You'll always get a free estimate and upfront pricing before we start. If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we'll tell you so — and if something isn't right after we've been out, we come back and make it right.
